Essential Holiday Items in Peak Season

No matter where you’re going on holiday this year, there are always the same essential holiday items that you will need to pack. This summer is forecasted to be a hot one, so even if you’re staying in the UK, you may need to stock up on these products when doing your shopping!

1) A portable, handheld fan- this will give you an extra breeze if the weather remains sunny and humid. There is nothing worse than being overheated, so even if this is a temporary solution for a breeze, of you’re too hot, i’m, sure you would take it!

2) Some people believe that they don’t need sun cream as they don’t burn in the sun, however the creams provide UV protection, which helps your skin, avoiding ageing and wrinkles in the long run.

3) An item that is being purchased more frequently is water spray that cools the body down. This spray can be applied like sun cream, however can be left on this skin once it is sprayed. This is perfect to keep in your handbag as it is compact and lightweight, however does not protect you from the sun, so make sure you don’t get it mixed up with your lotions!

4) Sun hats are a must-have. You do not want your head to burn in the sun and if you have dyed hair, you don’t want it to lighten in the sun, after spending money on getting it they perfect shade! There are so many different styles of hats, if you feel like you are not a hat-person or don’t suit hats then have a look around, see which style suits you best.

5) Footwear is always something to consider when going abroad or being in the heat. Will you be going on a pool-side holiday where you don’t need to think about your footwear as much as if you were going on an activity holiday, taking part in sports or hikes, needing something less flimsy than flip- flops.

There are many more items that would be perfect holiday items, however these are the top five that strike me as being vital!
